About The Event
7 Habits of Highly Effective People Workshop
July 23–24, 2026 | Central Coast, CA + Virtual (Zoom)
Effective organizations start with effective people. This two-day workshop focuses on building personal effectiveness as the foundation for stronger leadership, better teamwork, and more sustainable improvement efforts.
Led by Eric Olsen, PhD (Director, Central Coast Lean), the session covers all 7 Habits through a mix of discussion, reflection, and practical application. Participants will work through real scenarios, complete a pre-workshop 360° assessment, and leave with tools they can immediately apply in their daily work.
Objective: Achieve personal effectiveness as a prerequisite to organizational effectiveness.
Purpose: In this live, online, and in-person interactive workshop, we cover all 7 Habits in eight 90-minute sessions (12 hours total) over 2 days. It is impossible to have an effective lean organization without effective associates and managers. Central Coast Lean invests a great deal in providing high quality lean training and access to lean thought leaders. In assessing our process, it became obvious that we want to provide training to people who feel empowered to use it. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Signature Edition 4.0 helps participants not only learn to be more effective, but also shows them how to use processes and tools to live and apply the 7 Habits every day
